RED Physical activity, vitality, power, the need to begin things, drive, action, leadership, love of sports, challenge, connection with the earth, competition, 'strength of will', courage, passion, practicality, desire for possessions, sense of adventure, survival instinct. Many young people have bright red auras - especially males. They are very active and 'on the go'. Dark red may mean over stressed.

ORANGE Creativity, confidence, ambition, originality, sociability, openness, intuition, independence, expression, lateral thought, ability to solve problems and work without supervision. Many talented sales people, entrepreneurs and people who deal with the public have orange auras.

YELLOW The colour of the intellect. Joy, fun, variety and spontaneity can be very important to one showing yellow cheerfulness. A bright sense of humour and optimism coupled with a warm smile are typical of those with yellow auras. People with yellow auras have the ability to brighten the lives of those around them.

GREEN The central colour of the spectrum. The balance of the active and the passive - the yin and the yang. Green symbolises harmony, balance, growth and teaching. Family matters and parenting may well be of particular importance to those showing green. Medical professionals and people involved in the healing arts of any kind will often have green featuring strongly in their auras.

BLUE This is the colour of calmness and peace. Those with blue in their aura are capable of deep feelings and have the ability to communicate with others more than verbally. One who uses the heart. Issues of trust, loyalty, devotion and empathy abound. Time to communicate with oneself and trust oneself more.

INDIGO This is the colour of the third eye chakra. People with this colour are often very intuitive. They should always go with their intuition or gut feeling. Invariably this will be correct.

VIOLET The magical, mystical colour. Violet shows searching, questioning and the ability to look more deeply than most others. Such people search for the truth and do not take everything at face value. They love to look within and tend to be very psychic and to be unconventional. They march to the beat of their own drummer.

WHITE The most spiritually motivated colour. White is not actually a colour, it is a mix of all colours giving the ability to see 'the big picture'. Such people often see the world in much more than physical terms and money is not always the object of their lives. The desire to be one with all can bring great wisdom. Usually not many adults will show white in their actual auras. White and Magenta often overlay the colours in the aura. Many believe that this is when your guides are with you.

MAGENTA A wonderful colour to have in your aura - it signifies Universal Love. Magenta along with white often overlay the other colours in the aura. If Magenta is on your left side in abundance then usually it means that soon you will fall in love.

As you can see from most of the pictures above. Most people have 3 or 4 colours in their aura. However occasionally we come across people with every colour of the rainbow in their aura. Each aura is read individually. To the untrained eye 2 aura pictures might seem very similar however sometimes the reading can be very different as we also connect to the person & our guides (if present) & we also look deeper into the photograph. Always revisit your aura photo as often they develop over time and you will see more in the photo after a week or so.

......NOTE THAT THESE DEFINITIONS DO NOT APPLY TO CHILDREN...... More often than not children are red, orange & yellow - they are young, active & constantly learning. Until they become adults & have to go out into the world & earn their own living often their personality will not truly be reflected. Obviously there will be some exceptions to this but on the whole we find children are normally these colours.
